Job summary

Actalent is seeking a qualified candidate to join our GMP manufacturing and aseptic processing team in Hudson, WI. You will perform cleanroom manufacturing, operate specialized cell processing and counting equipment, and prepare reagents for production.

The role emphasizes strict GDP documentation, adherence to SOPs, and collaboration with Quality, Manufacturing, and R&D as the business scales from development to commercial manufacturing. Contract-to-hire with onsite work.”

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field (Associates degree with relevant industry experience also considered).
• 1+ year of GMP-regulated pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device experience.
• Hands-on lab experience with aseptic technique, sample handling, reagent preparation, and documentation.
• Experience in cleanrooms or controlled manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs while maintaining accurate records.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing and processing activities in a GMP cleanroom using aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Operate specialized laboratory and production equipment including cell processing, encapsulation, microscopy, and cell-counting systems.
• Prepare reagents, solutions, and materials to support manufacturing and laboratory operations.
• Accurately complete batch records, logbooks, and GDP documentation in accordance with GDP.
• Support quality initiatives, deviation investigations, environmental monitoring, and inspection readiness activities.
• Analyze production and laboratory data to support troubleshooting, process optimization, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and R&D teams as the organization scales from development to commercial manufacturing.
• Maintain strict compliance with GMP regulations, SOPs, and biosecurity requirements.
