Job summary

Lonza Biologics, Inc. in Houston is seeking a Core Technician - Cell Therapy to participate in aseptic processing and manufacture of cell therapy products in a GMP environment.

You will operate production equipment and complete GMP documentation while supporting safe and compliant manufacturing. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Quality Control and other site functions to meet production schedules and quality standards, perform aseptic manipulations, and maintain

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in a scientific or technical discipline preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience with cell therapy technologies or related biopharmaceutical manufacturing in a cGMP environment.
• Knowledge of aseptic processing principles and cleanroom operations.
• Ability to follow SOPs, manufacturing instructions, and production schedules.
• Experience completing GMP documentation and reviewing manufacturing records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in aseptic processing and manufacture of clinical and commercial cell therapy products.
• Perform aseptic cell culture manipulations within Grade A/B cleanrooms.
• Operate cell processing and manufacturing equipment per approved SOPs.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate as needed.
• Follow contamination control strategies to maintain GMP compliance.
• Complete GMP documentation accurately and on time.
• Review manufacturing batch records and related GMP documentation.
• Adhere to safety policies and regulations.
• Identify deviations from standard procedures and support investigations.
• Assist in production scheduling and manufacturing activities.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, QA, QC and other site functions.
