Job summary

Actalent is seeking a GxP Lab Technician to support a regulated laboratory environment in Pennington, NJ. You will prepare and manage media, maintain stockrooms, handle hazardous waste, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

The role requires GMP/GxP experience, aseptic technique, inventory management, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This is a contract, fully onsite position with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a technical field or sciences preferred.
• Experience in a GMP/GxP regulated environment handling chemicals.
• Strong aseptic technique and safety compliance in lab settings.
• Experience with inventory systems, purchasing systems, and lab documentation.
• Knowledge of handling growth media, buffers, and bulk product logistics.

Responsibilities

• Perform lab services to support research activities under minimal supervision.
• Manage stockrooms, inventories, and fulfill chemical/media requests with accuracy.
• Coordinate shipments and liaise with customers, shipping, and vendors.
• Prepare media and solutions with aseptic technique and proper documentation.
• Handle hazardous waste collection and storage per regulations.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized laboratory and office areas.
