Job summary

Lonza Group Ltd. in Houston, TX is seeking a Core Technician – Cell Therapy to join our on-site GMP manufacturing team. The role involves aseptic processing of clinical and commercial products, operation of production equipment, and meticulous GMP documentation to support regulated manufacturing.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality and Operations to meet schedules, maintain safety, and follow SOPs. Must be able to stand long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience with cell therapy technologies or related biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes in a cGMP environment.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow SOPs, manufacturing instructions, and production schedules.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel; experience with SAP and LIMS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participate in aseptic processing and manufacture of clinical and commercial cell therapy products.
• Perform aseptic cell culture manipulations within Grade A/B cleanroom environments.
• Operate cell processing and manufacturing equipment according to approved SOPs.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and elevate concerns as appropriate.
• Follow contamination control and containment strategies to maintain GMP manufacturing environment.
• Complete GMP documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Review manufacturing batch records and related GMP documentation as required.
• Adhere to safety policies, procedures and applicable regulations.
