Job summary

Legend Biotech, a global cell therapy leader, seeks an Operations Support Specialist in Raritan, NJ. You will join the Manufacturing & Supply team to perform cell culture, purification, aseptic processing, and cryopreservation in a sterile cGMP environment, contributing to both clinical and commercial manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 0-1 years of operations experience in a cGMP biotech/biopharma environment.
• Ability to work in a matrixed cross-functional environment to drive projects.
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA guidance for cell-based products.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Ability to handle human-derived materials in a BSL-2 cleanroom.

Responsibilities

• Perform process unit operations (cell culture, purification, aseptic processing, and cryopreservation) per SOPs and batch records, recording data clearly.
• Build partnerships with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality; work as part of a cross-functional team to complete tasks.
• Support development of manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvements in cell therapy operations.
• Handle biological materials and hazardous chemicals as part of routine duties.
