Bristol Myers Squibb is offering an internship in Seattle to support the development of cell-based bioassays within the Cell Therapy Analytical Development Team. The intern will contribute across stages from early development to validation, gaining hands-on lab experience in assay development, data analysis, and documentation.

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or related field.
• Basic lab skills and familiarity with mammalian cell culture, ELISA, Western blot, and PCR.
• Understanding of gene editing technologies such as CRISPR.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Support design, development, and optimization of cell-based bioassays for gene edited programs.
• Perform lab experiments including cell culture, molecular biology, data collection.
• Evaluate assay parameters for accuracy, precision, linearity, range, and robustness.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data using statistical tools.
• Document procedures and results in electronic notebooks and assist in drafting protocols.
