Job summary

Gotion Inc. in the United States is seeking an experienced Production Manager to develop and execute production plans that meet deadlines and targets.

You will lead a cross-functional team, monitor progress and quality, and drive lean improvements to reduce waste. You will implement 5S and Visual Management, perform daily Gemba walks, and collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Procurement to ensure smooth launches and stabilized processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing production management experience.
• At least 3 years in a managerial role in large-scale production.
• Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production plans to meet deadlines and production targets.
• Monitor and manage production progress, quality metrics, and costs to improve overall efficiency.
• Implement and maintain 5S standards and Visual Management systems to ensure a clean, organized, and transparent work environment.
• Conduct daily Gemba walks to identify and resolve floor-level bottlenecks in real-time.
• Optimize workflows through lean manufacturing practices and reduce production waste.
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of production equipment to ensure consistent performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement smart manufacturing techniques where applicable.
• Build, train, and manage a high-performing production team.
• Evaluate team performance regularly and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Manage labor relations and conflict resolution effectively within a diverse workforce.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Procurement teams to support new product launches and stabilize production processes.
• Ensure compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, and other quality management standards.
• Enforce safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Prepare detailed production reports, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to management.
