Job summary

RTX in McKinney, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to join a first-shift, on-site team. The role focuses on safety, quality, cost and schedule execution on the factory floor, with responsibility for supervising operations and coordinating with multiple functions. Candidates should have a university degree and 2+ years in production or lean manufacturing; experience with SAP or similar systems is preferred.

U.S. citizenship is required.

  • Safety, quality, cost, and schedule on the factory floor.
  • Supervise day-to-day factory operations, resource loading, process control, and metrics.

  • Workforce planning, forecasting, training, time/attendance, area layout and flow, and policy compliance.
  • Engage with other functions to drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and schedule.
  • Be willing to work off-shift and overtime as required by program and factory needs

This position supports multiple Programs, production business needs and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment supporting the s Factory. The position requires strong interpersonal skills and performs a wide variety of sequencing, planning, scheduling, coordinating, and reporting tasks in support of the manufacturing workflow. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing and applying Lean Manufacturing techniques to successfully meet production requirements.

This position is working 1st shift, on-site, at our McKinney, TX location.

What You Will Do
  • Responsible for safety, quality, cost, and schedule execution on the factory floor.
  • Supervise day-to-day factory operations, resource loading, process control, and business performance metrics.
  • Interface with Production Associates, ProductionControl, Program Operations, Quality, Engineering, Environmental Health and Safety, as well asFactory Management.
  • Be responsible for workforce planning and forecasting, employee training, time and attendance tracking, area layout and flow management, and ensuring compliance of company policies and procedures.
  • Requires engagement with other functional areas where direct and indirect influence experience is needed so that we have continuous improvement in cost, quality, and schedule performance.
  • Willing to work off-shift and overtime as required by program and factory needs

  • Experience in Visual Controls, Line Balancing, LEAN Factory management principles and optimizing the use of critical resources
  • Experience with Manufacturing Engineering, process development and continuous improvement

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
