Syenex, Inc is seeking a Research Associate to join the Discovery Team to support design, production, optimization, and screening of novel delivery vectors for cell and gene therapy. You will work on characterization, in vitro assay development, and cell line maintenance to advance multiple delivery platforms.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree with 1–4 years lab experience or MS with 1–2 years experience.
• Experience maintaining mammalian cells in culture using standard techniques.
• Strong understanding of molecular biology and cell biology.

Mansioni

• Produce and test novel vector designs for mammalian cell delivery using flow cytometry, imaging, and genomic analysis.
• Characterize gene and protein expression in mammalian cells using flow cytometry, microscopy, qPCR, ELISA.
• Maintain mammalian cell cultures.
• Perform cloning and plasmid preparation.
• Participate in experimental design, optimization, and method development.
• Support customer LVV production and characterization.
• Follow SOPs and develop new protocols when necessary.
• Collaborate to generate and screen novel delivery vehicles.
• Maintain records of samples through database curation and electronic tracking.
• Document and present findings to the R&D team and wider company.
