Qualifications

• Education: B.S. or M.S. in Molecular Biology, Neuroscience, or related field.
• 1–3 years of lab experience in a research or industry setting.
• Proficiency in molecular biology techniques: Western Blotting, ELISA, RNA/DNA isolation, NGS library prep, qPCR.
• Aseptic technique and mammalian cell culture experience.
• In vivo skills: basic mouse handling, dosing, or tissue necropsy.
• Familiarity with AAV biology or muscle/CNS disease models.

Responsibilities

• Molecular Characterization: DNA/RNA extraction from tissues and qPCR/ddPCR; Western Blot/ELISA for protein analysis.
• Cellular Assays: Maintain mammalian cell cultures; microscopy/flow cytometry.
• In Vivo Integration: Support in vivo team with tissue processing and behavioral assays.
• Sequencing Workflows: Prepare NGS libraries for transcriptomic studies.
• Data Processing: Analyze results using GraphPad Prism, FlowJo, CellProfiler.
• Documentation: Maintain Benchling notebook and present data to the team.
