Position Information Position Title CEJA Data Entry Coordinator Job Category Full-Time Staff Division External Relations Department Main Campus Job Description The CEJA Data Entry Coordinator is responsible for the accurate, timely, and compliant entry, maintenance, and reporting of participant and program data for the CEJA Workforce Program. This position ensures data integrity by verifying records, conducting internal file audits, monitoring documentation for compliance, and maintaining participant information in required reporting systems. The Coordinator participates in technical assistance meetings and trainings, stays current on reporting system updates and policy changes, and assists with internal and external audits. This role works closely with program staff to ensure reporting requirements are met, data is accurate, and grant compliance standards are maintained. This is a grant-funded position and is contingent upon continued funding.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with participants, staff, employers, and community partners.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and contribute effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in data management, reporting systems, and career development or workforce services technologies.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide recommendations for process improvement and program effectiveness.
- Knowledge of workforce development programs, grant compliance requirements, and participant documentation standards.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Workforce Development, or a related field. Three (3) years of experience in job placement, workforce development, career services, or a related field. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective partnerships with employers and community stakeholders. Experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds in achieving employment and career goals. Proficiency in Illinois WorkNet and related workforce development technologies. Physical Demands
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK Must be willing to work beyond an 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. work schedule to fulfill the responsibilities of the position. There may be irregular hours, including weekend and/or evening hours. Summer hours may vary. This position is eligible for an alternate work schedule after the probationary period has been successfully completed.
TRAVEL This position may require occasional travel to meet with employers and attend industry events. Some local travel is required. Participation at state or local meetings and/or conferences may require overnight travel.
PHYSICAL / MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT- Must be able to receive, process, and provide visual and verbal information.
