The CEJA Data Entry Coordinator is responsible for the accurate, timely, and compliant entry, maintenance, and reporting of participant and program data for the CEJA Workforce Program. This position ensures data integrity by verifying records, conducting internal file audits, monitoring documentation for compliance, and maintaining participant information in required reporting systems.
The Coordinator participates in technical assistance meetings and trainings, stays current on reporting system updates and policy changes, and assists with internal and external audits. This role works closely with program staff to ensure reporting requirements are met, data is accurate, and grant compliance standards are maintained. This is a grant-funded position and is contingent upon continued funding.
Associate degree in Social Work or a closely related field from an accredited institution, or completion of at least 60 semester credit hours in Social Work or a related field, and a minimum of two (2) years of directly related experience. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and the ability to effectively utilize technology and computerized systems. Valid Illinois driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Workforce Development, or a related field. Three (3) years of experience in job placement, workforce development, career services, or a related field. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective partnerships with employers and community stakeholders. Experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds in achieving employment and career goals. Proficiency in Illinois WorkNet and related workforce development technologies.
Work schedule may extend beyond an 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. window, with possible irregular hours, including weekend and/or evening work. Summer hours may vary. An alternate work schedule may be available after the probationary period is completed.
Occasional travel may be required to meet with employers and attend industry events, including local travel and, when necessary, state or local meetings and conferences that may require overnight stays.
