Job summary

Acousti Engineering is seeking a Project Manager/Estimator, Ceilings in Columbia, SC to lead the full lifecycle of ceiling projects, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards. You will collaborate with customers and internal teams, applying expertise in standard and specialty ceiling systems to achieve optimal results.

The role requires strong communication, 3+ years of ceiling sales or PM/estimating experience, and a degree in Construction Management or related

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial ceiling sales experience
• Strong communication with customers, teams and internal personnel
• Project Management experience or degree in Construction Management
• Strong knowledge of ceiling products, installation and field troubleshooting
• Ability to evaluate/respond to customer RFPs, blueprints, specs and contracts
• Experience managing large ceiling projects and ensuring cost, schedule and quality
• Proficiency with construction software tools including Quick Bid/On-Screen Takeoff and Timberline

Responsibilities

• Review project scope to identify risks and clarify expectations with stakeholders
• Develop accurate project cost estimates for pricing decisions
• Ensure bid proposals align with profit goals
• Estimate and manage ceiling projects from pre-start to closeout
• Complete material take-offs, place orders, manage delivery and punch lists
• Engage with clients across corporate, institutional, government, medical and hospitality sectors
• Conduct professional face-to-face client interactions from initial contact to close
• Build and maintain client relationships through consultative selling
• Maximize sales opportunities and market share via proactive outreach
• Develop a qualified leads database via referrals, cold calling, networking
