Job summary

Acousti Engineering Company of Florida seeks a Project Manager, Ceilings to lead the full lifecycle of ceiling projects in Charlotte, NC. You will manage scope, cost, and schedule, working with clients and internal teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in commercial ceilings, strong client communication, and a degree in Construction Management or related field. Proficiency with estimation tools and construction software is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial ceiling project experience or related PM background.
• Strong communication with customers, construction teams and internal personnel.
• PM experience or degree in Construction Management.
• Deep knowledge of ceiling products, installation and field troubleshooting.
• Ability to evaluate and respond to RFPs, blueprints, specs, and contracts.
• Experience managing large ceiling projects with focus on cost, schedule and quality.
• Experience with Quick Bid/On-Screen Takeoff and Timberline software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other construction-related tools.

Responsibilities

• Review project scope to identify risks and clarify stakeholder expectations.
• Develop accurate cost estimates for pricing decisions and profitability.
• Ensure bid proposals align with profit goals.
• Estimate and manage ceiling projects from pre-start to closeout.
• Complete material take-offs, place orders, and manage delivery and punch lists.
• Engage with corporate, institutional, government, medical, and hospitality clients.
• Conduct professional face-to-face interactions from initial contact to close.
• Build and maintain client relationships through consultative selling.
• Maximize sales opportunities and gain market share through proactive outreach.
• Develop a database of qualified leads from referrals, cold calls, and networking.
