DRMP's Construction Engineering Inspection division seeks Transportation Technicians/CEI Inspectors around Troutman, NC. Your role includes field surveying, inspection, documentation, and testing with hands-on training and mentoring provided.

The positions report to field project leaders and require a minimum 40 hours per week, with potential overtime. A comprehensive compensation package and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with 4+ years in construction inspection, including roadway/bridge projects.
• AAS Civil Engineering Technology plus 2+ years experience, with at least 1 year roadway inspection.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Document daily contractor work efforts and field activities.
• Prepare project field book, density logs, and material samples.
• Inspect construction work for conformance to specs and record quantities.
• Assist with Final Estimates package and backup documentation.
