Job summary

Environmental Design International, inc. seeks a Senior Construction Engineer/CEI Practice Lead to grow and deliver Phase III CEI services for transportation infrastructure with state and local agencies.

You will combine business development, technical leadership, project delivery, and staff mentoring to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget performance. You will lead CEI programs, cultivate client relationships, and oversee execution while guiding engineers and inspectors to excellence

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Minimum 10+ years of progressively responsible transportation construction engineering experience.
Minimum 5+ years of leadership, project management, or supervisory experience.
Demonstrated experience managing Phase III Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services.
Proven record of successful business development and client management.

Responsibilities

Lead transportation CEI programs, develop new business opportunities, and mentor staff.
Oversee project execution, client relations, and ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget performance.
Direct multiple CEI projects, manage scope, budget, and staffing, and monitor metrics.
