S&ME, Inc. is seeking an experienced CEI Team Lead - Project Manager to oversee major construction engineering and inspection projects in Charlotte, NC, with statewide reach.

You will lead delivery, nurture client relationships, and develop CEI staff across transportation sectors including highways, rail, and airports. The role emphasizes project leadership, QA/QC oversight, and collaboration with regional leadership to drive CEI growth and successful project outcomes for DOT and municipal

Qualifications

• 15+ years of CM/Inspection experience with NCDOT/FHWA or local agencies.
• 5+ years in supervisory/management roles.
• Willingness to travel statewide.
• Experience developing client relationships and CEI opportunities.

Responsabilités

• Lead and deliver CEI projects within assigned service areas.
• Maintain relationships with NCDOT, municipal, and county clients.
• Mentor and retain CEI professionals while fostering growth.
• Ensure QA/QC and regulatory compliance on projects.
• Collaborate with leadership to meet business goals.
• Identify new CEI opportunities and contribute to BD efforts.
• Provide responsive client service on complex transportation projects.
