Egis seeks a CEI Senior Project Engineer to lead construction engineering and inspection teams on transportation projects in Florida. You will guide inspectors, coordinate project activities, and build lasting client relationships while ensuring quality and compliance.

The role emphasizes on-site leadership and strategic program delivery. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years CEI experience, a Florida PE license, and strong communication skills to drive excellence across the program and teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years CEI experience on transportation projects with lead responsibility for inspection and administration.
• B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited university and a current Florida PE license.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and client relationship focus.

Responsibilities

• Direct construction engineering administration and inspection teams; mentor staff to reach potential.
• Plan, coordinate, and optimize work of subordinates to ensure on-time, quality delivery.
• Develop and refine policies and procedures to improve efficiency and align with best practices.
• Review state and local programs for compliance and standards alignment.
• Build strong client relationships through clear communication and service excellence.
• Provide on-site leadership with 40–60% facility operations focus during early phase.
