Job summary

S&ME is seeking an experienced CEI Team Lead - Project Manager to oversee major construction projects in the Charlotte, NC region. You’ll lead project delivery, manage client relationships, and develop CEI staff while expanding our transportation services.

Qualifications

15+ years of CEI/CM experience with DOT or municipalities.
5+ years in supervisory or management roles.
Willingness to travel across North Carolina as needs arise.
Experience managing DOT/rail/transit/airport projects.
Proven ability to develop client relationships, proposals, and win CEI work.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver CEI projects within assigned service areas.
Build and maintain relationships with NCDOT, municipal and county clients.
Recruit, mentor, and retain CEI professionals.
Ensure project QA/QC and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with leadership and project teams to meet goals.
Identify new CEI opportunities and contribute to business development.
Provide responsive client service on complex transportation projects from planning through construction.
