Job summary

Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC (ICE) in Georgia is offering a Construction Engineering and Inspection Intern position for the Summer of 2027. The 12-week program provides hands-on experience monitoring and inspecting infrastructure projects, with guidance from senior engineers, and exposure to project management, quality assurance, and field inspections.

Candidates should be enrolled in a civil engineering program (junior or senior), have a minimum GPA, and be willing to work

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited civil engineering or related degree program (Junior/Senior preferred).
• Strong math calculations and good communication skills desired.
• Prior internship experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monitoring, testing and conformance of client/contractor work to ensure standards are met.
• Perform construction observation and field tests under supervision of a senior engineer.
• Ensure materials and procedures comply with DOT standards and record daily notes.
• Assist with development of spreadsheet tools and project documentation.
