Job summary

Egis is hiring for a Florida CEI team member to support transportation infrastructure projects for FDOT and municipal clients. You will perform inspections, document test results, and assist with project records and reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of construction inspection experience (incl. roadway/bridge) or EI with civil degree.
• Knowledge of roadway and bridge construction practices and QA requirements.
• Familiarity with FDOT standards, specs and construction administration.
• Proficiency with computer apps and CM software to support inspection docs.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document inspections on roadway/bridge projects per plans and contracts.
• Conduct and oversee field testing with proper documentation and reporting.
• Support project administration: records, inspection reports.
• Monitor contractor operations and flag issues impacting quality, schedule, or compliance.
• Plan activities with sound judgment and coordinate with teams and agencies.
