Egis Florida CEI team is seeking a qualified professional to support transportation infrastructure inspections and project delivery for FDOT and regional clients. You will conduct inspections, ensure contract compliance, and document results to uphold quality and safety on roadway and bridge work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of construction inspection experience in roadwork/bridges or EI with civil engineering degree.
• Knowledge of roadway/bridge construction practices and QA.
• Familiarity with FDOT standards and inspection procedures.
• Proficiency with construction management software and documentation tools.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document roadway and bridge inspections for compliance with plans and specs.
• Oversee field testing activities and document results.
• Maintain project records and prepare inspection reports.
• Monitor contractor operations and identify issues affecting quality or schedule.
