Job summary

GRAEF is seeking a FDOT CEI Inspector to support transportation projects across the Florida Panhandle and NW Florida regions. The role reports remotely to our Orlando office and may reside anywhere in the Florida Panhandle or NW Florida region.

Responsibilities include performing field inspections, reviewing engineering computations, and ensuring quality control on bridge and roadway projects. Candidates should have a High School Diploma/GED and at least 2 years of inspection experience, with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction inspection on a variety of bridge and/or roadway projects.
• Ability to perform work in the NW FL region.
• Preferred CTQP certifications listed above or the ability to obtain them within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on projects in the NW Florida region, under the supervision of GRAEF's CEI Construction Engineer and/or Project Administrator or Senior Inspector.
• Perform technical assignments in construction layout, making/checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting field tests.
