Volkert Inc. is seeking experienced senior and entry-level CEI inspectors for the Southeast Region in Florida. Roles require a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities include performing engineering computations, inspecting construction, conducting tests, and documenting results. Applicants should have 2 years of construction inspection experience (1 year in bridges/roadways) or be an Engineer Intern with a Civil Engineering degree.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of construction inspection experience, one year in bridge/roadway construction, or an Engineer Intern with a Civil Engineering degree.
• FDOT certifications may be required within one year (provided by Volkert).
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and maintain safe work environment; federal guidelines may apply.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR).

Responsabilités

• Make and check engineering computations.
• Inspect construction work.
• Conduct field tests.
• Write daily inspection reports and document test results and observations.
• Assist in record keeping and field measurements as needed.
