GRAEF, a leading U.S. consulting firm, has a new opportunity for an FDOT CEI Sr. Inspector to work on transportation projects in the NW Florida region. The role may reside anywhere in the Florida Panhandle and reports remotely to the Orlando, FL office.

The candidate should have 4+ years of engineering inspection experience on bridge/roadway projects and CTQP certifications. GRAEF offers robust training, competitive benefits, and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree a plus.
• Minimum of 4 years of proven engineering inspection experience on bridge/roadway projects.
• Ability to work in the NW Florida region.
• CTQP qualifications listed above or other jurisdictional certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on NW Florida transportation projects under CEI supervision.
• Conduct complex inspections and field tests; review reports and quantities.
• Perform material testing for concrete, asphalt, and aggregates; verify conformance to specs.
• Inspect ongoing construction for compliance and resolve quantity disputes.
• Mentor less experienced staff where possible.
