Job summary

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in construction inspection on transportation projects including roadway and bridge construction
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications for inspection activities
• Proven track record supervising field inspectors and coordinating with contractors
• OSHA 10 Safety Training required for all field personnel; TDOT and state certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction work for roadway and bridge projects
• Conduct field tests and ensure test results meet project specs
• Assist Senior Inspector and monitor contractor daily operations
• Manage a small team of CEI Inspectors and oversee field activities
