Job summary

Barge Design Solutions, Inc. seeks a CEI Inspector (DOT) to perform technical assignments including inspection of roadway and bridge construction activities, oversight of contractor operations, materials sampling and verification testing, plan reading, field surveying, and construction engineering computations.

Will monitor progress, verify work, and assist with pay estimates. Responsibilities include inspecting construction work, conducting field tests, and assisting the Senior Inspector.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in construction inspection.
• 1 year in roadway and/or bridge construction.
