Job summary

TranSystems is seeking a CEI Assistant Project Administrator in Fort Pierce, FL to support the Project Administrator in managing administrative and financial aspects of transportation construction projects in the Treasure Coast and Palm Beach area.

This full-time role offers training with the goal of advancing to a CEI Project Administrator or Project Engineer within about a year, with exposure to owner, design professionals, subcontractors and vendors across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ years inspection or engineering experience with 2+ years in roadway/bridge inspection.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook; MAC or equivalent; SiteManager; MAC Project Database; Project Solve; BlueBeam; PrC.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Administrator with liaison among owner, design professionals, subcontractors and vendors to facilitate construction activities and profitability.
• Manage financial aspects by updating quantities and reporting status.
• Assist in change order tracking, investigation, and settlement.
• Prepare owner pay applications and process contractor/material invoices.
• Represent company in project meetings and produce minutes.
• Engage with team to promote learning and inclusion.
• Assist in pursuing CEI contracts with FDOT and municipalities.
