Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Civil Engineering degree with 5+ years road/bridge construction experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Experience with MAC materials acceptance database, SiteManager, Project MAC, Project Solve, BlueBeam, PrC.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Valid Florida Driver's License and a good driving record.
• Must obtain certifications and pass appropriate tests in specified time frames.
• Ability to sit, stand, climb, bend, twist or stoop frequently in outdoor conditions.
• Ability to reach horizontally and vertically for required tasks.

Responsibilities

• Review detailed records of contractor operations, manpower, equipment, methods and events affecting work.
• Monitor work zone traffic control plan for discrepancies and issues.
• Monitor erosion control plan for discrepancies and issues.
• Oversee sampling and testing of materials and completed work.
• Ensure accuracy of progress and final estimates.
• Verify dimensions and calculations of work.
• Track and measure completed work quantities for payment.
• Manage inspectors, coordinate schedules and oversee records.
• Receive direction and execute tasks in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate problem-solving abilities.
• Assist business development in pursuing CEI contracts with FDOT and municipalities.
