Job summary

Trane Technologies plc in Dallas, TX is seeking a high-impact Product Management leader to expand the CDU product family strategy for its data center business, owning the full lifecycle and building and mentoring a PM team. You will co-develop with GPU manufacturers and work with hyperscalers to compress time-to-market and deliver scalable, modular CDU solutions.

Qualifications

• Direct experience with data center liquid cooling systems.
• Familiarity with hyperscaler procurement and specification processes.
• Experience owning a hardware product portfolio from concept through commercialization — including requirements definition and production launch.
• Understanding CDU system architecture: TCS/FWS loop design, pump sizing, redundancy, DCIM integration.
• Strong technical fluency in fluid systems, heat transfer, or electromechanical product design.
• Experience influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Financial acumen — ability to build business cases, model pricing, and connect product decisions to P&L impact.
• Comfortable in a hands-on PM role while developing others.
• Excellent communication skills for executive and customer audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end CDU product family strategy and roadmaps across deployment types and configurations.
• Define CDU portfolio architecture and agilely align with hyperscaler, colo, and enterprise needs.
• Drive modularity and scalable design principles to support long asset lifecycles (10–15 years).
• Assess build-vs-buy-vs-partner options and co-development with GPU manufacturers and OCP references.
• Lead voice-of-customer research, benchmarking, and market sizing to inform investments.
