Job summary

MRCI in Minnesota is seeking a CDS Program Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for clients, handling intake, payroll, and problem-solving while promoting CDS programs to clients, families, and county personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree plus 3 years of related human services experience, or a high school diploma plus 6 years of related human services experience.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and independent decision-making abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel throughout Minnesota.
• Must pass a Minnesota Department of Human Services background check.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for clients, handling intake, payroll, and problem-solving.
• Promote and explain CDS programs to clients, families, and county personnel.
• Ensure timely and accurate service delivery while maintaining a customer-focused culture.
• Stay current on legislative and regulatory changes affecting CDS programs.
• Input budgets, process payroll and reimbursements, and track spending.
• Assist with onboarding new employees and processing employment documentation.
• Collaborate with counties, DHS, and other providers to develop best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
