Job summary

Apple Media Products seeks a CDN Solutions Engineer to join the Content Delivery Network Solutions team in Cupertino, California. This role is for an experienced, self-directed engineer who can independently identify problems, build solutions, and work directly with engineering teams across Apple.

You will design and implement CDN solutions, troubleshoot latency and uptime issues, and build tools to automate workflows.

Qualifications

• 4+ years working with Content Delivery Networks — caching, routing, origin configuration, headers, and TLS.
• 4+ years of production software development in Python, Go, or Node.js.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot HTTP and DNS issues in live production environments.
• Experience analyzing logs and metrics to root-cause issues under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement CDN solutions across Apple teams to meet evolving needs.
• Troubleshoot latency and availability issues, pulling logs and running diagnostics.
• Build internal tools to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across Apple—marketing, software, AI/ML, IT—to deliver robust CDN solutions.
