Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist III/IV to support NASA Program Planning & Control (PP&C) with CDM planning and control services at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. The role is hybrid, requiring four on-site days with remote flexibility per business needs.

You will develop, implement, and enforce configuration management policies, coordinate cross-program CDM activities, and train stakeholders in CDM tools and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in Configuration and Data Management or related field.
• Knowledge of CDM standards and principles.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Experience in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, and virtual environments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide CDM planning and control services for NASA Program Planning & Control (PP&C).
• Develop and implement configuration management policies and best practices across the program.
• Manage change through the document lifecycle with the Change Package Engineer and stakeholders.
• Coordinate NASA review of vendor and International Partner deliverables.
• Provide CDM support for Control Boards and Panels; present CM status reports.
