Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation invites applicants for a Configuration Management Specialist III/IV at NASA Programs within the Johnson Space Center, Houston, TX. The role focuses on CDM planning, change management, and ensuring compliance across complex programs.

You will support PP&C and collaborate with engineers, CPEs, and stakeholders, with a hybrid schedule requiring onsite presence most days and flexibility as needed. A related bachelor’s degree and several years of CDM experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in Configuration and Data Management or related field.
• Knowledge of CDM standards and principles.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, and virtual environments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
• For IV level: 8 years of experience in CDM or related field and ability to communicate concerns to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, execute, and audit CDM processes for the Program Baseline.
• Design and implement configuration management policies across the program.
• Manage changes through lifecycle; prepare and verify change packages.
• Support NASA reviews of vendor and International Partner deliverables.
• Provide CDM support for control boards, milestone reviews, and cross-program coordination.
• Educate stakeholders on CDM tools and processes.
• Perform document quality assurance to ensure policy adherence and archiving.
