Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist III/IV to support NASA Program Planning & Control (PP&C) by providing CDM planning and control services. This full-time role is based at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX, with a hybrid schedule requiring four days onsite and some remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in Configuration and Data Management.
• Knowledge of CDM standards and principles.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Experienced in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, and virtual environments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in planning, coordination, execution, and audit/verification of CDM processes
• Develop, design, implement and facilitate configuration management policies and best practices across the program
• Perform change management and control through the document lifecycle; coordinate with the Change Package Engineer and stakeholders
• Manage NASA review of vendor and International Partner deliverables
• Provide CDM support for Control Boards and Panels and for Milestone reviews as needed
• Educate and train internal and external stakeholders on CDM tools and processes
• Ensure all CDM data and records are accurate, complete, and timely archived
• Perform technical Document Quality Assurance to ensure product consistency and adherence to program policies
