This exempt position requires strong data analysis, communication skills, and extensive experience in hospital coding and charge capture.

Qualifications

4 years APC experience in the CDM/auditing arena
3 years experience managing financial data in a large multidisciplinary healthcare system
4 years experience in hospital coding, charging and extensive knowledge of Federal regulations
2 years clinical experience preferred
Training experience is preferred
Software certifications related to data mining, database management, or interface support preferred
4 years of healthcare accounts receivable management experience preferred
Epic Healthcare system experience preferred

Responsibilities

Maintains and updates the Charge Description Master (CDM) within the department.
Train and educate staff on charges for services and CDM rules.
Collaborate with departments to implement charging changes and ensure compliance with CMS guidelines.
Work with APC Coordinators to resolve CDM billing issues and system updates in Epic.
