Job summary

The Gardens at Millville in Millville, PA seeks a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to oversee meal preparation and delivery in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will supervise dietary staff, monitor performance, and support residents' nutritional needs within established policies.

Qualifications

• CDM certification is required.
• Preference for long-term care experience.
• Preference for prior management/supervisory experience.
• Applicant must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations within the dietary department.
• Manage dietary staff, including scheduling, hiring, and performance management.
• Prepare meals according to planned menus and authorize substitutions.
• Ensure meals prepared according to standardized recipes and special diet orders.
• Review resident care plans to ensure dietary needs are met.
• Provide nutrition counseling with assistance from a Registered Dietitian.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support facility operations.
• Monitor staff performance and conduct probationary/annual evaluations.
