Job summary

Stone Oak Care Center, part of Touchstone Communities, is seeking an experienced Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to lead the Culinary Services Department in a skilled nursing setting. You will oversee meal production, ensure nutrition quality, and drive resident dining experiences with a focus on safety and compliance.

You will partner with nursing, administration, and families to tailor therapeutic diets, manage budgets, and develop your culinary team.

Qualifications

• CDM certification or active pursuit of certification.
• 2–3 years of leadership experience in skilled nursing, long-term care dining services.
• Experience leading culinary teams and managing dietary operations.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets, food safety regulations, sanitation, and dietary compliance.
• Ability to collaborate with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Experience managing dietary operations during state surveys and inspections.
• Budgeting, food cost controls, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop culinary and dietary team members.
• Oversee daily dietary operations ensuring nutritious and appealing meals.
• Collaborate with residents and families to accommodate preferences.
• Ensure compliance with state, CMS, and local health regulations.
• Prepare for surveys, audits, and inspections.
