Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Taunton, MA is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to join our local, home-daily routes. You will build relationships with customers while delivering food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals and more.

You will unload up to 100 lbs, use a ramp and two-wheeler, and be part of a team that values safety and reliability. Competitive pay and benefits kick in day one.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Class A CDL License required.
• Food service delivery experience preferred with a CDL.
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs throughout the shift.
• Pass a drug test and background check.
• Clean driving record as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards.
• Veterans encouraged to apply.
• Must be registered through the DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to customers and build relationships.
• Unload cases up to 100 lbs; use ramp and two-wheeler as needed.
• Handle local routes; home every day with day shifts.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies during deliveries.
• Adhere to schedule; may require Saturdays and early start times.

CDL A Delivery Driver Location: 630 John Hancock Rd, Taunton MA 02780 Do you have a passion for driving? Are you looking for more home time? Picture yourself as a delivery driver with Gordon Food Service! In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. Day shifts and local routes mean you’ll be home every day. You’ll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you’ll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift. Schedule: 5 Day Work Week Monday - Saturday. Start time between 3-5am and work until work is complete. Must be available to work Saturdays if needed!

Pay: Our drivers annual pay ranges from $82K to over $100K! Our drivers are paid on a component pay structure. You are paid for the work that you do! Paid per day, per mile, per case & per stop!
