Job summary

Lake County Solid Waste is seeking a Driver/Operator in Montana. The role requires a valid Class B CDL with winter driving experience and the potential to obtain Class A by end of probation. You will operate trucks and heavy equipment, lift up to 80 lbs, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• CDL with valid Class B; winter driving experience (min 1 year).
• Ability to operate large trucks and heavy equipment safely.
• Must be able to lift 80 lbs and work outdoors in extreme weather.

Responsibilities

• Drive transfer truck to container sites.
• Set empty containers and consolidate/load containers.
• Deliver and unload containers; perform minor maintenance on equipment.
• Move and compact waste; perform landfill duties and other assigned tasks.
