Republic Services is seeking a CDL-B driver to safely operate a collection truck and provide reliable waste removal services. The role requires ensuring vehicle compliance with safety standards and completing daily vehicle condition reports.

Responsibilities include pre/post inspections, route adherence, customer interactions, and maintaining productivity while following company safety policies.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety and proper operation.
• Operate the collection truck along designated routes, following route sheets and dispatcher instructions.
• Load refuse, operate the packer and dispose of material at receiving facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to service routes timely.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag them per procedures.
• Maintain productivity standards and complete reports such as VCRs and route sheets.
