Walter's Recycling and Refuse is seeking a CDL Truck Driver to safely operate garbage trucks and associated equipment on scheduled routes. The role requires adherence to DOT rules, maintaining a Minnesota CDL and DOT health card, and a clean driving record to ensure safe, compliant waste collection services.

The position involves performing pre-trip inspections, loading and unloading, and communicating with dispatch about route changes.

Qualifikationen

• Class A or B CDL license valid for Minnesota.
• No Air Brake Restrictions.
• Clean Driving Record.
• Mapping skills.
• 18 years of age or older and legally authorized to work in the US.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Aufgaben

• Safely operate garbage trucks in compliance with regulations.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Drive assigned routes to collect waste and recycling on schedule.
• Secure loads to prevent spillage and unload at facilities.
• Complete route sheets and necessary paperwork accurately.
• Provide courteous service to customers; address inquiries or direct to customer service.
• Communicate with dispatch about route changes, delays, breakdowns, or emergencies.
• Follow DOT regulations and company hours, drug/alcohol testing, and ELD requirements.
