Job summary

Republic Services, a leading environmental services company, is hiring a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal. You will ensure vehicle safety, follow regulations, and complete daily vehicle condition reports to minimize downtime.

The role requires a Class B CDL with air brakes, adherence to safety standards, and teamwork with dispatchers and customers to meet daily routes and service levels.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety and readiness.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on assigned routes, read route sheets and service customers on schedule.
• Load refuse, operate the packer/compactor, and dispose of material at designated facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers daily.
• Complete route productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports (VCRs) regularly.
• Maintain safety compliance and participate in the ReSOP program.
