Job summary

Casella Waste Systems, Inc. seeks a CDL Truck Driver for the 2nd shift (2 PM–2 AM, Mon–Fri). The role focuses on safe operation of rear/front/roll-off trucks and delivering prompt, courteous waste removal services on assigned routes.

Requires a CDL and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. The position offers competitive hourly pay ($26–$30/hr) with benefits and opportunities to grow through our career path program.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Class A or B CDL.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Pre-employment drug screen required.
• Ability to lift objects over 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operates trailer trucks safely and efficiently on designated routes.
• Performs pre/post trip inspections and maintains truck appearance.
• Provides courteous customer service and completes required paperwork accurately.
• Drives in residential/commercial environments and manages various load types.
• Reports service interruptions or safety issues to Dispatch on time.
