Job summary

Casella Waste Systems is seeking a CDL Truck Driver to safely operate rear load, front load, side load and roll off trucks on designated routes, delivering courteous waste removal and excellent customer service. You will perform pre/post trip inspections, navigate traffic and work in residential and commercial settings.

Qualifications include a valid Class A or B CDL, at least 18 years old, ability to lift 50 lbs, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; CDL license (A or B) required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate waste collection trucks safely.
• Must be able to perform pre/post trip inspections and follow safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre/post trip inspections and maintains truck appearance.
• Operates rear/front/side/roll-off trucks safely on streets and job sites.
• Delivers courteous customer service and timely waste removal.
• Completes route sheets and mandatory paperwork accurately.
• Attends training and communicates with Dispatch about service interruptions.
