Job summary

Casella Waste Systems, Inc. is seeking a CDL Truck Driver to operate rear load, front load, side load and roll off trucks with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

You will drive on residential and commercial routes, protect communities, and ensure timely waste removal with professional conduct on all sites. The position offers a starting rate of $40.50 per hour and a $2,500 hiring bonus, with ongoing advancement opportunities through the Career Pathways program and regular merit

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a High School Diploma or GED and be at least 18 years old.
• Must hold a valid Class A or B CDL.
• Candidate must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre/post trip inspections of the assigned vehicle and maintains truck appearance per safety standards.
• Operates rear load, front load, side load and roll off trucks safely on streets, customer sites and construction sites.
• Provide courteous, timely service and maintain positive customer interactions.
• Complete route sheets and required paperwork accurately.
• Attend training sessions and communicate any service interruptions to Dispatch.
