Job summary

Republic Services is hiring a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services along assigned routes. The role requires adherence to safety standards, daily VCRs, and courteous customer interactions.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, reporting safety issues, and following company policies. A Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement is required, with emphasis on reliable, professional performance on every route.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.
• Excellent driving record and safety focus.
• Ability to perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a collection truck along assigned routes and service customers.
• Complete required route productivity sheets and VCRs daily.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report safety issues.
• Follow safety policies and participate in ReSOP program.
• Interact professionally with customers, dispatchers, and co-workers.
