Job summary

Czarnowski Collective is seeking a dedicated shipping and receiving associate for a full-time role in our Utah facility. You will work both independently and with a team, driving various equipment and ensuring orders ship accurately and on time.

This role requires a Class A CDL, forklift certification (or the ability to obtain it), and the ability to lift 50+ pounds while maintaining safety and organisation in a busy warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification is required.
• Ability to pull multiple orders and operate various equipment.
• 18 years of age or older and able to lift 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Effectively work with a team to complete jobs within deadlines.
• Pull multiple orders simultaneously.
• Operate Box Truck, Tractor Trailer, and other warehouse equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Overtime during peak season with possible long days.

The Purpose:

You will work independently as well as part of a team in the shipping and receiving department. Ability to drive multiple types of equipment including forklifts. Ability to work in a warehouse, shipping and receiving environment completing various tasks as assigned. Basic computer skills needed. You must have a Class A CDL license and forklift certification or ability to obtain certification required.

The Job:

• Effectively work with a team to complete jobs within deadlines.


• Ability to successfully pull multiple orders simultaneously.


• Ability to use multiple types of equipment, including Box Truck, Tractor Trailer, etc.


• Basic Computer skills


• Willingness to drive Over the Road, when needed.


• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.


• Frequent exposure to high levels of dust and particles


• High levels of noise due to multiple power tools and machines


• Comply with company policies and procedures.


• Full-time position with days and hours of work from Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm (subject to change).


• Mandatory overtime during peak season with possibility of working upwards of 12 hours per day, including weekends.

The Person:

• Must be 18 years of age or older


• Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)


• Forklift certification and/or ability to obtain such certification is required.


• Any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to complete multiple tasks


• Construction background is helpful but not necessary


• Exhibit industry experience is helpful but not necessary


• Be able to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms


• Required to hear and speak


• Understands the position requires remaining in a normal seated position for prolonged periods of time


• Frequently lift or move items over 50 pounds


• Possess specific vision abilities to include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
