Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling in Broadview Heights, OH, is seeking a Utility Driver with a Class B CDL to service residential and commercial routes. You will operate multiple truck types, perform pre/post trip inspections, and maintain logs while delivering safe, reliable service.

The role requires 1–2 years of CDL experience, ability to read maps, and willingness to work nights/weekends. Candidates must pass pre-employment testing and hold a valid DOT Medical Card.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years CDL truck driving experience.
• Must have valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs rarely.
• English language proficiency required.
• Ability to travel between offices and work nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services to customers, in a safe and compliant way.
• Operate various types of trucks and/or complete routes.
• Routinely enter/exit the truck 300-500 times per day.
• Replace containers neatly at curb or designated area.
• Maintain and update route and driver logs; conduct pre/post trip inspections.
• Interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
