Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Utility Driver in Waverly, OH. You will service customers with trash and recycling and operate different trucks, while maintaining logs and ensuring safe, timely pickups.

Must hold a valid Class B CDL and a DOT Medical Card, be at least 19, and able to work nights and weekends. Rumpke offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum 1–2 years CDL driving experience.
• Ability to read and understand maps and drive all fleet trucks.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services to customers safely.
• Operate various types of trucks and routes.
• Enter/exit the truck 300–500 times daily as required.
• Replace containers at the curb and clean spills.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain logs.
• Interact professionally with customers and coworkers.
